Free Information and Freeware!

Greetings,

Through my bloglines, I have come across a website that I think will prove interesting for those who are computer proficient, as well as the computer neophytes.  What first attracted me was the list of “The 46 Best-ever Freeware Utilities.”  This list gives links to the companies in which you can download free internet browsers, firewalls, anti-virus, etc.

The set-up itself seems relatively well done, although it is kind of bothersome having to scroll down past the descriptions of many of the categories, in order to get to the specific category you want, but overall, this site seems to be a very good database to get your basic free software.

This site also seems to be constructed for a newsletter.  Links from the page that I received the URL for lead to several pages that can give you links to more free stuff, as well as walkthroughs and guides for computer related terms and events.

Personally, I know that as the years go on, my free time that I can afford to spend looking for free stuff is dwindling as I am in school or working, and thus I am glad that people, such as “Gizmo”, take the time to publish lists that can, and will, assist others in saving money as well as educating them.
